A PUB'S £130,000 makeover is now complete.

The Gatehouse, in Tyldesley, is celebrating its new look after renovating the pub, run by licensees Jane and Dominic Dalton, and installing new seating, bar areas and pool table.

It has also undergone a complete redecoration including mirrors and wood panelling.

Pub manager Jackie Frame said: “We are delighted with how the refurbishment has gone. The pub looks completely different, it’s so much brighter.

“It has certainly been money well spent. We’ve had some fantastic comments already from our local customers who couldn’t quite believe when we re-opened that it was the same pub.”

Since opening its doors last month, the pub has seen a huge increase in customers and restaurant bookings.
