Blood donor session to be held in Golborne
PEOPLE in Golborne are being asked to give blood before they go on their summer holiday.
Blood stocks tend to fall at this time of year as people get distracted by holidays and the warmer weather so NHS Blood and Transplant is reminding people to donate ahead of their breaks to help maintain stocks for hospital patients over the summer.
There will be blood donor sessions at All Saint’s Catholic Club in Golborne on August 18 from 2pm until 4pm and 5.30pm until 7.30pm.
