A BOWLING competition is being held to raise money for a project to help people with dementia.

The event is being held at the Gardeners Bowling Club in Howe Bridge at 11am on Saturday, August 30, and the competition will take a pairs format with partners drawn on the day.

Entry is £2.50 per person with all proceeds raised going to Dementia Buddy, a project aimed at improving the care and facilities for people with dementia in the area.
