Townswomen’s Guild to hold grand charity event in leigh
LEIGH Townswomen’s Guild will be holding a grand charity event in the Derby Room at Leigh Library next month.
The guild celebrated its 65th birthday earlier this month with 80 members and friends enjoying dinner and entertainment at The Greyhound Hotel.
The charity event, which will feature stalls selling handicrafts and groceries as well as a tombola, will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Thursday, November 6 and admission is 50p.
