THE demands of war on a Lancashire town will be the topic of a talk for the Friends of Tyldesley Library.
The talk called A Town Like Ours will be given by Richard Sivill on Tuesday from 1.30pm until 3pm at the library. and will explore how a typical Lancashire cotton/mining town coped with the demands of the war and its aftermath.
Admission £1 per person and refreshments will be available.
