STUDENTS at Westleigh High School took part in its annual careers and mock interview day, which is aimed at promoting the wide range of options open to teenagers once they’ve completed their GCSEs.
There were motivational sessions, advice on how to put together an effective application and information on employment, training and apprenticeships.
Headteacher John Banks, who welcomed around 30 business leaders to help students with their mock interviews, said: “Such events are designed to inspire our students to strive for excellence now to ensure their future success and highlight the importance of achieving good qualifications.”
