Grants on offer for community projects in Higher Folds
RESIDENTS and community groups are being given the opportunity to apply for a share of £20,000.
Applications are now available for groups and individuals to bid for up to £2,000 to bring to life a project that will benefit the Higher Folds area.
Bidders will then have to present their idea to the public at a Dragons’ Den-style event called We Decide at Higher Folds Community Centre on January 17.
The deadline for applications, which are available from the community centre, St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School and Higher Folds Sports and Social Club, is on December 12.
An information event is also being held at the centre on November 27, 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm.
