A HUSBAND accused of murdering his wife in Culcheth has been remanded in custody after appearing at Chester Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday morning.
Andrew Munro, aged 50, of Chiltern Road, spoke only to confirm his name when addressed by Judge Elgan Edwards, the Recorder of Chester.
The defendant is alleged to have stabbed the victim.
Appearing calm, Mr Munro was wearing a blue jumper and grey trousers.
He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on February 20 for a plea and case management hearing, with the trial set to begin on April 13.
