FIREFIGHTERS are to take industrial action today, Tuesday, from 9am.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is urging residents to take extra care as the 24-hour strike means there will be greatly reduced fire cover across the county.
The dispute that has led to this is between the Fire Brigades Union and the Government and not GMFRS but it does mean that they will be responding differently to emergencies.
