POLICE are hoping to reunite various items that were found at a suspect's house with their owners.

The items, including several mobile phones, a hand held games console and a money box containing about £8 in 5 pence pieces were recovered from a suspect’s house but can’t be linked to a specific crime.

Officers are hoping that the owners will come forward to help them identify any crimes that may have taken place.

PC Danny Morgan from Leigh Police Station said: “We believe all the items were stolen in the Tyldesley, Leigh or Astley area in August 2014.

“Some of the phones are very old and we can’t identify the owners but the Sony PSP is registered to someone called Caz which we hope means something to someone.

“They were found at a suspect’s address but we can’t put anything to him.

“Also in the bag was some razor blades and moisturiser which may have come from shoplifting.

“We are looking for people to come forward as maybe they have been burgled. It is quite a rare situation – normally we have a victim but no suspect not the other way round.”

If you recognise the items of know who Caz might be, call PC Morgan on 0161 856 7225.
