PUPILS at Sacred Heart Primary School in Leigh have been entertaining audiences with their nativity.
Years one and two staged this year's production called Born in a Barn, a bit of a twist on the traditional nativity tale, and it went down a storm with the audiences of the two shows.
Newton Westpark Primary School's nativity Bethlehem’s Buzzin’ was also a witty but sensative take on the traditonal story which revolved around three less-than-honest market stall holders who are hoping to cash-in on the large number of visitors arriving in Bethlehem.
Whilst giving it the hard sell they encounter a tired couple on a donkey, a group of excitable shepherds and three mysterious visitors from the east and are led to a lowly stable where they experience something that will change their lives forever.
