Tesco customers feed thousands
GENEROUS Tesco customers in Atherton and Leigh have donated 7,250 meals for people in need this winter.
The meals were collected during the fifth Neighbourhood Food Collection in aid of Trussell Trust foodbanks and FareShare, a food redistribution charity.
The collection was held to make sure that the charities have enough food to help people during the winter, which is the hardest time of year for people in poverty.
