EXCITED young visitors shared Leigh Library with a host of farmyard animals on Tuesday morning.
More than 200 people turned out to see the animals brought along by Acorn Farm in Kirkby, Liverpool in order to educate the children about the animals.
Rita Devlin, at Leigh Library, said: “We had excited children queuing up outside the library even before the doors opened.
"Acorn Farm brought sheep, goats, ducks, chickens and rabbits for the children to feed and pet.”
One parent said “It was a great opportunity for the kids to meet and learn about the animals, we have had a wonderful morning.”
