SOPRANO Victoria Goulden scooped four prizes at the Southport Music and Drama Festival.

Victoria who is the lead soprano with Three Towns Operatic Society picked up first prizes in the Operetta Class singing ‘The Waltz Song’ from Tom Jones and the Opera Class where she sang ‘Batti Batti’ from Don Giovani.

She was also awarded second prize for both the Gilbert and Sullivan Class and Vocal Solo.

Victoria will be performing the Waltz Song from Tom Jones at the society’s concert tomorrow and Saturday at The Rose Centre, formerly Lowton Civic Hall, Hesketh Meadow Lane, Lowton

Victoria who trained at the Arden School of Acting in Manchester, has played many major roles with the Society and will play the part of Lina, daughter of a famous pastry cook in the society’s next production Waltzes from Vienna, music by Johann Strauss (father and son) at St. Joseph’s Hall in May.
