The Rotary Club of Astley has released the routes for its Christmas float.
Father Christmas on his sleigh will start his rounds on December 14 at 6.30pm and will go to Church Road, Henfold Road, Withington Drive, Stour Road, Abbey Road, Whimbrell Road, Humber Road and Avon Road.
On December 15 he will begin in St. Stephens, Coldalhurst Lane, Fieldhead Avenue, Moorgate Drive, Manchester Road and Crossgill.
He will continue on December 16 to Stour Road, Humber Road, Avon, Whimbrel Road and Abbey Road.
On December 17 as well as taking the route from North Lane, Willow, Newlands, Sherwood Avenue, Cranworth Avenue, Windsor Avenue, Princess Avenue, Ley Road, Greenfield Road, Sunnybank Drive, Parkfield Avenue, the sleigh will also be outside Tesco in Leigh.
The sleigh will also be at Sainsbury’s in Leigh on December 19 and 20.
On December 21 the sleigh will start in Duke Street and go through- Brook Drive, Merton Grove, Dunmail Avenue, Higher Green Lane and Mancheser Road.
The sleigh will also go through Ennerdale Road, Berryfold Way, Thirlmere Ave, Loweswater Avenue and Astley Street on December 22 before making its last round on December 23 from Higher Green Lane down to Astley Green.
The rotary club will be holding is Christmas Carol Service on December 23 which will take place on the Astley Green Village Green, outside the Colliery.
