Art group open evening for new members
STUDIO 77 Art Group is holding an open evening for new members at Leigh CE Infant School in Walmesley Road on Monday.
Art by the group’s members will be on display at the two-hour event, which starts at 7pm, and resident artist Debra Butterworth will carry out demonstrations and be on hand to offer advice.
Group secretary Janet Rigby said: "We are a friendly social group and would love to welcome new members.
"Painting is a relaxing and inspiring hobby and there is always someone on hand keen to offer help and advice."
