PUPILS at Garrett Hall Primary school in Tyldesley are celebrating earning their fourth Green Flag Eco School Award.
The award signifies the highest level of eco work that primary schools can earn and is the culmination of two years of work by the Garrett Lane school’s eco team.
Pupils have been encouraged to recycle, save energy and walk to school.
Head teacher Lynn McArdle said: “We are very proud of how well the eco team, pupils and the community have worked together to make our school so environmentally friendly.
“The children have loved learning about protecting our world and have enjoyed doing their bit.”
