PET owners visiting Pennington Hall Park this weekend should keep their eyes peeled for silver dog bones.

Twenty-five of them have been hidden around the popular park, and if you find one you will be given £25 off a total purchase at any Pets at Home store.

Starting at 9am tomorrow, Friday, the bone hunt is the pet food, toys, bedding and accessories company's unique way of celebrating Pets at Home's 25th anniversary and thanking the community for helping to make the Leigh store on Parsonage Way retail park success a success.

Store manager Christopher Abbott said: “Since we first opened our doors we’ve enjoyed meeting and hearing about so many wonderful pets in the area.

"The bone hunt is just a small way to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us in keeping local pets happy and healthy over the years."

A limit of one bone per customer can be claimed. Each anniversary bone includes details of how to claim a prize.

Pets at Home Leigh and Pennington Hall Park would like to remind pet owners of the importance of responsible pet ownership when out and about with their dogs. They are encouraging owners to clean up after their dogs and ensure they are well behaved, to ensure the bone hunt is enjoyable for everyone.
