A CARING garage is offering a free 118-point safety inspection for vehicles owned by pensioners and people with disabilities.
Treads Northwest, of Leigh Road, Atherton, also provides them with free tyre, battery, brake, alternator, exhaust and oil and coolant level checks.
Manager Oz Lone said: “Atherton and its surrounding areas are predominantly occupied by the older generation, whose safety should be a priority to us all.
“People with disabilities should also be given extra support.”
Customers must bring a valid driving licence and confirmation of their disability entitlement, where applicable.
They also need proof of ownership of their vehicle, which must be more than two years old.
