RSPCA Wigan, Leigh and District has received a £3,500 donation so they can purchase new facilities for cats in their care.
The donation came from Support Adoption For Pets, which aims to re-home animals and promote responsible pet ownership through neutering and microchipping campaigns.
Amy Wilson, charity manager at Support Adoption For Pets, said: “It is a real privilege to help an organisation that works so hard to re-home animals, the effort the rescue puts in is an inspiration.”
Support Adoption For Pets is an independent charity established by Pets at Home in 2006 and has helped more than 1,000 re-homing centres and animal welfare organisations in the UK.
