A LEIGH man who threatened to blow up a woman’s house has been given a twelve week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.
Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court heard that Philip Smallman, 42, of Sandringham Drive, had made two threats to blow up the woman’s house.
At the time Smallman, who made the indirect threats via a third party, had been subject to a restraining order issued by magistrates on September 2.
Smallman pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay £100 in compensation and a victim surcharge of £115.
