A HALLOWEEN charity event is being held for pets and their owners in Lowton this weekend.

The charity fundraiser will take place at the Dogs Country Club on Slag Lane from 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 2pm on Sunday.

It will include play sessions for pets and advice sessions for their owners.

There will be a Spooky Barn for owners and their children to enjoy.

The two-day event will also include face painting, a children’s lucky dip, raffle, barbecue, decorated Halloween photo booth, professional photographer and refreshments.

The proceeds will all go to a charity drawn at random from people's suggestions at 4pm on Saturday.
