FIVE fire engines were sent to a kitchen fire at a bungalow on Mort Lane, Tyldesley yesterday, Friday.
Crews were called at around 2pm and used hose reels to put out the fire that is believed to have started in a tumble dryer.
Crews remained at the scene until around 5pm.
