FILM buffs can enjoy classic movies at The Pelican Centre in Tyldesley on the last Monday of the month from June.
Leigh Film Society’s Afternoon Classic Cinema Club will screen High Society on June 26, A Place in the Sun on July 31, From Here to Eternity on August 28, My Fair Lady on September 25, Scared Stiff on October 30 and Tammy and the Bachelor on November 30.
The listings are subject to change and the doors will open at 1pm for a prompt 1.30pm start.
The venue will sell tea, coffee and biscuits but cinemagoers are requested to bring their own lunch.
Instead of a normal monthly screening at The Pelican Centre there will be a special ticket event at Leigh Parish Club in December.
