STRUGGLING with your New Year's resolutions and in need of a boost?

We asked readers to send in their before and after weight loss success pictures to encourage others they can do it too.

And the result is an incredibly inspirational gallery.

Sarah Wilson's story

I have currently lost 9st 5lbs with Slimming World. My aim is 10stone in order to achieve a healthy BMI.

My inspiration has been my little boy and also I'm due to be married in November next year.

I'm hoping to reach the 10st loss mark by the summer so I can go wedding dress shopping.

Wendy Walker's story

After suffering a minor stroke I knew I had to do something about my weight.

I lost 2st7lb with a local Slimming World group.

I had so much support in group and met some lovely people.

I never wanted to miss a week and it has changed my life forever.

Julie Woodward's story

I was a size 16, weighing around 12 stone and I am 5ft 2".

I got out of breath just getting out of the car so, approaching 50 and really not happy with the way I looked and felt, I decided to sort myself out.

I joined a Slimming World group on 1st February 2016. I went on to lose 2 stone 9 pounds and a comfortable size 10.

I now run regularly and the picture you see was a virtual 10k I did in January.

I have also signed up for the Wigan 5k in March for Joining Jack and plan to run the 10k in September.

I am  a SW consultant and manager and now feel I can truly inspire my members in Golborne.

I really have been there and done that.

I'm now a happy, confident wife and mum with a newfound love of shopping. Truly madly fab at 50!

Jonelle Blakeley's story

I joined Slimming World 3 years ago, and I've lost 8.5 stone.

I was very skeptical at first and I didn't think I would lose anything.

I'm so glad I stuck to it and I'm also thankful to my consultant, Kelly Floyd who has helped me to lose this weight. 

Vikki Latchford's story

The first photo is from April 2015, I turned 30 that month and thought I needed to do something about my weight as I wasn't getting any younger and was struggling to get my breath when walking. 

I joined Slimming world in May 2015 and was shocked when I stood on them scales and weighed 18st 3lb but I thought to myself  "I'm doing this for me and I will never be that weight again!" 

I set my overall target at 5st and reached it in June 2016.

I was amazed at what I had achieved.

I still go to my local group every week, for the support and to keep on track,  I'm more active and healthier now than I have ever been.
