A TREE memorial for a seven-year-old boy from Leigh which was destroyed by yobs twice in a week has been redecorated by his friends and family.

Treasured belongings of Braiden Lee Prescott were laid at a tree in Firs Park the day after he died of cancer in September.

His mum Steph was left heartbroken by the double dose of vandalism earlier this month.

The 26-year-old joined other family members and friends at the park on Friday to decorate the tree in Braiden Lee's memory for the third time.

She said: "It went well and it is still there. Hopefully it will stay that way."

Steph says the vandalism has been reported to Greater Manchester Police.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
