LEIGH Hackspace is hosting its first Maker's Market on Sunday.

It will feature more than 20 makers, craftsmen and artisans selling goods ranging from art and ceramics to rope work, carvings and cards at The Cotton Mill on Mather Lane between 10am and 5pm.

Leigh Hackspace director Tom Dalton said: "We are looking forward to showcasing the skills and talents of local makers.

"There will be a range of goods on sale to suit all pockets.

"This is a great opportunity to support local makers and artists and pick up something unique.

"In addition to the crafts for sale there will also be displays by some of the sellers, as well as the chance for visitors to try their hand at some crafts.

"We will also have a stall selling Indian food, as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks available."

Leigh Hackspace is a not-for-profit company offering shared social and work space for creative people.
