SCHOOLCHILDREN should be safer near roads after receiving a lesson about how to behave when they are around large vehicles.

Year four pupils at Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Tyldesley were visited by global logistics company DHL on Tuesday.

They learnt all about the Warrington-based firm's Trucks and Child Safety (TACS) programme.
