A TWO-time miniature golf world champion will be showing off her skills and offering top tips at a new course next week.
Emily Gottfried will be visiting Bents Garden and Home’s recently opened Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf course from 1pm to 3pm next Friday, June 2, as part of the Glazebury centre’s half-term activities.
She will judge a best putter competition, with the winner receiving a hamper full of goodies.
Emily holds the Great Britain women's record for the lowest score on an 18-hole course, shooting a round of 24 – including seven consecutive holes in one and 12 in total – at the Nations Cup in Sweden.
There will also be planting activities, face painting and an indoor beach to enjoy at the centre on Warrington Road centre during half-term.
Planting activities will take place from 10am to noon next Monday and Friday with face painting available next Tuesday and Thursday.
