DAD and daughter duo Martin and Faye Gregory-Lambert are through to the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent.

Singers Martin and Faye Gregory-Lambert received four yeses from the celebrity judges on the primetime ITV talent show earlier this month for their spine-tingling operatic performance of The Prayer.

And they were give a big thumbs up again on tonight’s show, with singing and dancing star Alesha Dixon announcing that they ‘are through’.

Martin, 47, lifted Faye, 11, into the air in delight upon hearing the news that they will be one of the 45 semi-finalists battling it out next week for places in next Sunday’s final.

He was then filmed giving Faye a big hug and telling her: “I’m so proud of you, so proud.”

Martin works full-time as a singer on the pubs and clubs circuit.

Croft Primary School pupil Faye started singing around 18 months ago but, despite her incredible talent, she has not received any professional training.

Next Sunday’s two-and-a-half-hour final will conclude a week of live semi-final shows.

The first semi-final starts at 7:30pm on Monday.

The act with the most public votes each night will go straight through to the final.

Alesha and the other judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden will also select an act for the final each night, choosing between the second and third most popular acts with the public.

The lucky winner of the competition will be crowned the 11th champion of Britain’s Got Talent, securing a life changing cash prize of £250,000 and a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
