FIREFIGHTERS had to cut two people free following a three-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon.
The crash on the junction of Hall Lane and Ladies Lane in Hindley left the two people trapped.
Two fire crews were called to the scene at around 4pm and used specialist cutting equipment to free them.
The casualties were both taken to hospital.
Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour and 20 minutes.
