LEIGH Film Society is holding a French Movie Night on Wednesday.
Members can enjoy a screening of 15-rated 2001 comedy romance Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amelie Poulain at the Turnpike Gallery on Civic Square from 7.30pm.
In French with English subtitles, the film tells the tale of a naive girl in Paris with her own sense of justice who decides to help those around her, discovering love along the way.
Tea, coffee and snacks will be on sale, though movie lovers can bring their own food and drinks, including alcoholic ones.
Registering to become a member of the not for profit organisation run by volunteers is free at leighfilmsociety.com.
