A MAN from Atherton has admitted a trio of assaults.
Gregory Yates, of Hamilton Street, Atherton, pleaded guilty to assaulting two women and a man when he appeared before Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old assaulted the women in Wigan on July 29 and the man in the town between April 15 and 30.
He was remanded on bail for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Yates is set to return to the court to be sentenced on Tuesday.
Matthew Mason, of Somerset Road, Atherton, faces a crown court trial accused of driving dangerously in Leigh without insurance on February 16 and being caught in possession of an offensive weapon, a lock knife, and class A and B drugs.
The 20-year-old allegedly possessed crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply it to another, as well as a quantity of cannabis.
Mason is set to have a trial by jury at Bolton Crown Court on September 17.
Anthony Jackson, from Stockport, admitted carrying an offensive weapon, a hammer, in a public place in Tyldesley on July 28.
The 31-year-old is set to be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on September 13.
Brian March, of Wigan Road, Hindley, admitted drink driving on July 30.
The 65-year-old was banned from driving for a year and fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Lee Taylor, of Tyrer Walk, Lowton, admitted breaching the peace in Wigan on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old was bound over in the sum of £50 for six months to keep the peace.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Scott Brew, of Shelley Street, Leigh, after he failed to turn up in court in answer to bail.
The 23-year-old is accused of taking 10 indecent images of a child and disclosing a private sexual photograph or film without the consent of a person who appeared in it with the intent to cause them distress.
