A FIVE-star line-up of Strictly Come Dancing stars will pass on their expertise to amateur dancers in Hindley.

Professional dancers James and Ola Jordan, Kristina Rihanoff, AJ Pritchard and Robin Windsor have agreed to teach classes at Hurst Dance Studios at The Palace Ballroom in Hindley in October and November.

Philip Hurst, who runs the dance school with his wife Kathryn, said: “I think it is absolutely fabulous that the Strictly stars are coming to our school.

“It will be an amazing thing for the community and a great opportunity for dancers from the area.

“Since we told our members at the weekend our pupils have been absolutely buzzing with excitement.

“The children as well as the adults cannot wait to meet their idols, and we are hoping to announce more Strictly stars teaching dance classes soon.”

A string of star-studded dance classes at the Market Street studio will begin with a Latin American masterclass from Robin on Saturday, October 7.

He will teach adults from 4pm and children from 6pm.

Husband and wife James and Ola will teach a range of dance sessions from 2pm to 7pm on Sunday, October 29.

November dates for classes with Kristina and AJ have yet to be finalised.

The celebrity appearances will include photograph opportunities and the chance to ask them questions.

Robin and Kristina appeared at The Palace Ballroom at a charity dance event in 2015 while Camilla Dallerup is among the Strictly Come Dancing stars to have visited Hurst Dance Studios at its previous base in Hindley, The Rose Club, which was previously known as The Monaco Ballroom.
