A NEW £1,800 noticeboard has been put up outside a church in Atherton.
It displays future events taking place at Central Methodist Church on High Street.
Money from Wigan Council’s Brighter Borough fund helped the church to pay for it.
Cllrs Karen and Martin Aldred attended the unveiling of the noticeboard on August 27.
Cllr Karen Aldred said: “It was a pleasure to support this project as the noticeboard is great for advertising all the wonderful events the church puts on.”
