A MAN who twice stole from shops and threatened a man while carrying a syringe will be sentenced at a crown court.
Steven Blackledge, of Devonshire Road, Atherton, pleaded guilty to all six charges he faced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The 29-year-old admitted stealing from a B&Q store in Leigh last Tuesday, carrying an offensive weapon in a public place and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to make a man believe unlawful violence would be used against him.
Blackledge admitted committing the same offences at B&M in Leigh on May 29.
He stole £7 washing powder from B&M and five locks worth a total of £270 from B&Q.
Blackledge is set to be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on October 18.
James Davies, also of Devonshire Road, faces a jury trial at the court in Bolton on the same date.
The 22-year-old is accused of driving dangerously in Atherton on January 21, failing to stop when being ordered to do so by police and causing £500 worth of damage to a police car.
