A TALK about a key battle in the First World War is being held at Tyldesley Library.
Titled Passchendaele – The Forgotten Battle, the talk will see Richard Sivill tell the story of the part north west regiments played in the Third Battle of Ypres in the Flanders region of Belgium.
Richard visited the battlefields this year.
The event at the library on Stanley Street next Tuesday, October 3, will start at 1.30pm.
Admission is £1, including refreshments, and all are welcome to attend.
