A SCHOOL firework display will spark off early celebrations for Bonfire Night.
The annual event at St John’s Mosley Common CE Junior and Infant School in Tyldesley on Friday, November 3, will start at 6.30pm, with the fireworks set off an hour later.
There will be a chocolate tombola, hot dogs and other hot food and Bonfire Night-themed treats on sale at the Commonside Road school hall.
On the door entry is £4, with children under the age of two getting in for free.
The school’s Christmas fair is also on the horizon, offering a range of stalls, crafts and a tombola plus the chance to meet Santa from 1.30pm on Saturday, November 25.
Refreshments will be available.
