A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire
THREE fire engines were called to put out a grill pan blaze last night after it was left unattended.
Crews from Atherton, Hindley and Wigan were called to the kitchen fire in Cornwall Drive, Hindley, at around 7.40pm.
They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a ventilation fan and were at the scene for around half-an-hour.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
