A SHOPLIFTER who assaulted store staff has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Lisa Lock, of The Beeches, Atherton, was found guilty of assaulting a male in Wigan on June 17 and admitted attacking a female in Leigh on May 11.
The 40-year-old also admitted stealing £275 worth of items from JD Sports in Wigan on June 10, £60 worth of items from Superdrug in Leigh on May 17 and £60 worth of items from Asda in the town on May 13.
She also pleaded guilty to failing to a court no show on September 6 having been released on bail and was convicted of failing without reasonable excuse to comply with supervision requirements following her release from prison.
Lock appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
She was handed a four-month prison sentence suspended for a year and ordered to adhere to 12-month drug rehabilitation and rehabilitation activity requirements.
The bench took her previous record of offending and flagrant disregard for court orders into account when sentencing her.
