STUDENTS in the borough are celebrating after winning an array of honours at a presentation evening.
Adult Community Education Ltd put on a ceremony at St Peters Pavillion in Hindley to mark the success of its students who were awarded certificates, awards and qualifications in ASDAN Employability and ASDAN Towards Independence courses.
The charity offers education and training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs in Wigan and Leigh.
Awards were presented on Friday, October 13 by Anita from Uncle Joe's Mint Balls.
