LEIGH Centurions have completed the signing of Huddersfield Giants forward Nathan Mason on a one-year loan deal.

The 24-year-old will join up with Neil Jukes' squad for the start of pre season training next month.

Jukes said: "Nathan has played within a good club and systems in Huddersfield for a number of years now.

"He has plenty of experience for a young lad. Some of his performances for the Giants have been exceptional and I'm confident that with a full pre season the Leigh Centurions fans will see the very best of what Nathan can offer in 2018."

Mason graduated through the Waterhead community club in Oldham and the Giants academy ranks before making his Super League debut at Bradford in September 2013.

In 2016 he established a regular place in the Giants side, scoring four tries in 25 games and he made a further nine appearances in 2017.

Benefiting from the Giants' dual-registration partnership with his home town club, he has made a total of 39 appearances for Oldham over the past four seasons and also played for Batley on loan.

Mason has scored nine tries in a total of 78 games.
