SOMEONE special will be given an extra helping of Christmas cheer this year in the form of a festive prize package worth more than £1,000.
Bents Garden and Home’s Make Someone’s Christmas competition’s prize includes a 2.3-metre pre-lit Christmas tree, a 1.2-metre outdoor LED snowman, a carol scene with moving figures and £250 worth of vouchers, which the winner can spend as they choose at the Glazebury centre’s Warrington Road store or website.
Residents are asked to nominate someone who they believe deserves to have a particularly happy Christmas.
It could be someone who has gone out of their way to help or shown amazing spirit through adversity, an unsung hero or just someone who needs to know they are loved.
Managing director Matthew Bent said: “There are lots of unsung heroes and inspiring individuals out there.
“We would like to hear about them and hope we can make Christmas 2017 one to remember for someone very special.”
To nominate someone visit bents.co.uk/make-someones-christmas before Tuesday and write 200 words on why they should win the competition.
