A MUM has expressed horror after broken glass was found in her six-year-old daughter's trick-or-treat bag on Halloween night.
Shelley Robinson, from Atherton, says shards of glass were discovered among sweets when her daughter emptied the bag.
The girl had knocked on doors with her friend on Tuesday. They had been accompanied by her friend's mum.
Shelley said: "My daughter was full of excitement when she returned with a bag full of goodies but I was horrified to find broken glass among her sweets.
"Luckily I spotted it before she injured herself and I alerted my friend who also found broken glass in her daughter's bag too.
"Whoever has done this is an absolute moron – my faith in humanity is destroyed after this."
