BURGLARS forced their way into the back entrance of a charity shop, taking a safe containing £600 in cash.
Barnado's charity shop on the Bordsane precinct in Hindley was targeted by burglars.
The offenders broke into the premises through a rear door and grabbed the safe which contained the money.
Greater Manchester Police took to social media to say the shop "has been the latest victim of the back door burglaries that have been affecting some businesses in the Hindley area".
