AN animal rescue is celebrating rehoming its 200th dog.
The volunteers at Tyldesley's Makants Greyhound Rescue were delighted at weekend after clocking up the rehoming of its 200th greyhound.
The hound Daegan (formerly known as Dutch), was adopted by Ryan Redpath and Catherine De Vall from Urmston.
The dog which had been at the rescue since May, more recently had been living in a foster home with volunteer Ian.
The registered charity, based on Mort Lane, which has been in existence for just under four years has built up a small volunteer army who raise money, home check, foster and walk the kennel dogs.
