OUTSTANDING academic achievement, great sporting triumphs, responsible caring attitudes. These are just some of the kind words made to describe school leavers at a graduation ceremony last week.
Bedford High School’s outgoing Year 11 leavers said a final fond farewell to their school in an emotional Graduation Ceremony, where pupils were recognised for their achievements and formally presented with their GCSE certificates.
Bedford High School Headteacher Helen Phillips said: “They have all worked really hard and achieved some fantastic results. Their achievements are a testament to the dedication and professionalism of teachers and the support they received from parents and guardians.”
“I am very proud to be the headteacher of this school and everyone at Bedford wishes you the best for the future.”
Newly appointed director of Leigh’s Turnpike Gallery, Helen Stalker, was a special speaker at the event, who added: “
“Whatever your ambition is in life don’t let anything hold you back, as long as you have passion and believe in yourself you can strive for anything.”
