A PROLIFIC shoplifter has been jailed for three months after admitting to stealing on 13 occasions from Leigh shops in the last month.
Jack Mountford, of no fixed abode, admitted to the theft of 22 bottles of Jack Daniels whiskey, meat, glasses, a tracksuit, DVDs and shaving equipment when he was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old committed the offences between November 22 and December 9 at Asda, Sainsburys, Aldi, Specsavers, Marks and Spencers and JD Sports.
