A PEDESTRIAN was injured after being hit by a Vauxhall Astra in Hindley Green.
Police seized the car following the incident which took place on Silverdale Road.
It is alleged the driver, who failed to see the pedestrian, was not insured and that the vehicle was not taxed.
Officers add the pedestrian suffered "minor injuries" from the collision.
The driver has been reported in connection with the incident.
