FIREFIGHTERS climbed into a house in Leigh this morning, Tuesday, to help a man who had fallen in the night.
A fire engine was joined by a technical rescue unit and an enhanced support team at a home on Henrietta Street around 9.30am to assist the ambulance service at the scene by gaining access to the property with specialist equipment.
The man was taken to hospital and is currently receiving treatment.
Crews were on the scene until around 11.20am.
